Vivian Bagatt, a beloved caregiver and cherished matriarch, passed away on February 18, 2026, at San Antonio Regional Hospital, leaving behind a legacy of love and kindness. Born on June 1, 1946, in the Philippines, she graced the lives of many with her generous spirit and warm heart.

Vivian dedicated her life to caregiving, pouring her compassion into the lives of those she served. Her caring nature extended beyond her profession; she was a shining light to her family and friends, always remembered for her thoughtful gestures and the delightful gifts she brought for birthdays and special occasions. Vivian's loving soul was reflected in her culinary talents, especially when it came to her cherished dessert, ginataan, which became a beloved staple at family gatherings. Every occasion felt incomplete without her signature dish, a testament to her ability to bring joy through food.

Vivian had a deep love for puzzles, particularly word finds, and found joy in watching basketball, relishing in the thrill of the game. She had a fondness for candy and hard-boiled eggs, which added a delightful quirkiness to her personality. Her laughter and kindness created bonds that transcended generations.

She took immense pride in her children’s accomplishments, celebrating their graduations and successful careers with unwavering support and encouragement. Vivian is survived by her loving daughter, Tess Villagracia, and son, Mike Bagatt, who carry on her legacy in their own families. She is also survived by her grandchildren: Brandon Villagracia, Casey Villagracia, Ally Villagracia, Aiden Bagatt, and Mason Bagatt, as well as her great-grandson, Cillian Villagracia-Lopez. Each of them holds cherished memories of their time with Vivian, whose love will continue to resonate through their lives.

Vivian was predeceased by her mother, Belen Apolinar, and her husband, Bonifacio Bagatt. Their memories remain intertwined with hers, woven into the fabric of her life and the stories she passed down through generations.

As we bid farewell to this extraordinary woman, we invite all who knew Vivian to join us in celebrating her life on March 7, 2026. A visitation will take place from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM, followed by a funeral service at 12:00 PM at the Forest Lawn - Covina Hills - Tribute Center, located at 21300 Via Verde Drive, Covina, CA 91724. It is there that family and friends will gather to honor the remarkable life of Vivian Bagatt—a caregiver, mother, grandmother, and friend who will forever be loved and missed.
